Ten Ingredients for a Joyous Life and a Peaceful Home: A SPIRITUAL MEMOIR
Angela Shelf Medearis and Pastor, Salem Robinson, Jr.
When she was only 18 years old, Angela Shelf Medearis made two life changing decisions: She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savoir and married her husband, Michael Medearis. In TEN INGREDIENTS FOR A JOYOUS LIFE AND A PEACEFUL HOME: A SPIRITUAL MEMOIR, (Lake Isle Press, April 2009, $14.95, paperback) Meaderis reflects back on her journey through Christ, sharing her testimonies in the same no-nonsense tone that has made the Kitchen Diva a star. With the help of her Pastor, Salem Robinson, Jr., of Dunn's Memorial in Austin, Texas, Medearis provides a unique look at the 10 ingredients all Christians need in their lives: love, forgiveness, service, overcoming fear, friendship, healing, single Christian relationships, Christian marriage, godly children, and faith. Pastor Robinson provides biblically-based commentary and scriptural references that clearly explain each chapter topic.

THE KITCHEN DIVA'S FOOD PHILOSOPHY:
Cook well, eat well, live well… for me, that is not about avoiding certain foods, it’s actually about adding new foods and products and creating recipes using familiar ingredients that are healthy, unique and incredibly delicious. There is so much I want to do in life and I need good health to accomplish my goals.
Being in the kitchen has taught me many life lessons. I’ve learned to communicate love to my family and friends with great food. And, since I have never had hours and hours to spend cooking, I’ve learned how to prepare good food fast.
Did I say that I also like to have fun? I never want to feel like doing something so rewarding as creating a delicious meal for me and my family is a chore – I make it a fun, appealing, stirring and even ELECTRIFYING experience. I can show you how to be a Kitchen Diva, too by preparing healthy recipes with sass and soul! The Diva is never dull! Let’s cook.
